At Davy Joe’s, they know the importance of a good cup of joe and how it can bring people together from all walks of life.
The Idea for Davy Joe’s Coffee Company was created by three active duty Navy Sailors sitting around in a garage with the desire to just be better human beings. They each shared a strong love for all things Coffee, Adventure, and Family so they’d bring over our “favorite” blends, share their thoughts on them and sit around telling stories of their adventures or trips throughout the Navy and then repeat that process the next week.
They created Davy Joe’s Coffee Co. for a few reasons.
1. Coffee is amazing and a staple of our everyday lives and they wanted to share some amazing high quality, specialty roasted coffee with their friends and family.
2. Grabbing a cup of coffee is one of the best ways to reconnect with old friends or to make new ones. It has a way of bringing people together, and with all the division and disconnect going on around us, we all need that in our lives.
3. Regardless of what your profession, race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, political views, etc., we ALL work hard to provide for our families and they wanted to showcase that by providing an outlet to “highlight” regular everyday people doing what they love, chasing their dreams, and busting their asses to provide for their loved ones.
4. Everyone has a different path to get through this life. Some may be similar but no two are the same and they want to show people that it’s OK to be yourself no matter WHAT your story is. Just live it and make the best of it. If you don’t like something in your life, then go change it. After all, it’s YOUR story….
Their passion led them in search of the perfect roast of coffee to fuel our lives and our adventures. They spent a great deal of time searching for that perfect “cup of Joe” and it proved to be a pretty difficult task to accomplish. So instead they started testing out and working with a few roasters to find those perfect beans. Simple, Smooth, Perfect.
