Finding safe (and FREE) overnight parking or boondocking sites can be difficult, but it isn’t that hard if you know where to look. Apps like Campendium or FreeRoam will show you where to find some sites and even give you reviews from people who stay at specific there. Here are a few sites where we actually stayed in Southwest Texas, so you can try them when you’re in the area.
