Guadalupe Mountains National Park

Guadalpue Mountains

Guadalupe Mountains National Park is located in far west Texas, and the landscape there is not like anything I’d expect. Driving through that area (Odessa, Van Horn) you’d think west Texas was nothing but flat….flat land. Guadalupe Mountains is anything but.

Terrific hiking and beautiful scenery are plentiful, and there is more history there than you might know. Pinery Station, now part of the National Park, was a “favored stop on the original 2,800 mile Butterfield Overland Mail Route.

More adventures to come!
