We recently camped at the Meriwether Lewis Campground in our cargo trailer on the Natchez Trace Parkway and it was great! It’s a FREE campsite, cargo trailer friendly, and there are several hiking trails and beautiful scenery everywhere! Like I said, camping is free, but it is limited to 14 days, so be aware of that before you go!
The Natchez Trace Parkway is an incredibly fun and beautiful drive, so if you’re planning a trip between Louisiana/Mississippi and Tennessee, consider driving it! Sure, it may take you a little longer to get to where you’re going, but it will definitely be worth it!
