Our railroad adventure on the Verde Canyon Railroad was amazing! It’s a 4 hour ride through incredible scenery just south of Sedona, Arizona. The staff onboard are wonderful and made the trip completely enjoyable. After we returned to the depot in Clarkdale, Arizona, we drove up to Jerome, Arizona, a former mining town only minutes from the depot. It’s an eclectic mix of old mining town building now housing an artist community – a really fun place to visit if you’re in the area. When there, try the Haunted Hamburger for a truly delicious meal – it was great!
